Hello, AI Agents 👋
No, we didn't add another annoying chatbot to the site. You can now connect your own AI agent to your bookings and let it do the work.
There's no chat bubble in the corner and nothing pops up for your customers. We went the other way: you bring the AI you already use, and connect it to Isopenat. Claude works out of the box, and so does any other AI app that supports MCP, the open standard for plugging AI agents into the tools you work with.
Once it's connected, your agent works as you, with your permissions. It can look things up, and if you allow it, it can make changes for you too.
Where it actually saves you time
The admin is built for doing one thing at a time, and for most days that's exactly right. An agent earns its keep on the other days: when one event turns into twenty clicks, or when the information starts somewhere outside the app, in a photo, an email or a note on your phone. These are the jobs we'd hand over first.
Rain stopped play
Two courts are under water and the morning is fully booked. In the admin, that's one closure and then every booking opened, moved and confirmed by hand, at seven in the morning. With your agent, it's one message:
Courts 3 and 4 are flooded until noon. Close them, move everyone you can to a free court at the same time, and tell me who's left.
Courts 3 and 4 are closed until 12:00. I moved three bookings to a dry court at the same time and emailed each customer:
| Customer | Was | Now |
|---|---|---|
| James Porter | Court 3, 8:00 | Court 1, 8:00 |
| Sarah Mitchell | Court 4, 9:00 | Court 2, 9:00 |
| David Hughes | Court 3, 10:30 | Court 1, 10:30 |
Emma Davis (Court 4, 10:00) is left: both dry courts are taken then. She paid £18 by card, so cancelling refunds it in full and emails her. Shall I cancel it?
Yes, cancel it.
Done. Emma's booking is cancelled, her £18 is being refunded and she's been emailed.
The coach is off sick
"Priya is ill this week. Tom covers her sessions." It finds every session Priya teaches this week and puts Tom on each date as the substitute, while the series keep Priya as their coach. Without it: open a session, change the instructor, save, next, for every date.
The paper sign-in sheet
Take a photo of the sheet people signed at the door and send it. Your agent reads the names, matches them to the participant list, marks who came and who didn't, and asks about any scribble it can't place.
Mark attendance for this morning's junior session from this.
Done for Junior Tennis Academy at 9:00: 9 attended and 2 didn't come (Leo Hart and Mia Chen).
One signature doesn't match anyone registered: "T. Br…". If someone joined without signing up, tell me their name and I'll add them to the session.
The cash from the week
Paste the names from your notebook: "These paid cash this week: Sarah Mitchell, David Hughes, the Porters…" It finds each person's unpaid booking and records the payment. When someone has more than one, it asks which.
The team list from a parent
A parent sends twelve names for Saturday's under-10s. Paste the message: "Add these to Saturday's U10 session." That's one message instead of twelve trips through the add participant form, and anyone with an email address in the list gets their confirmation.
Next season's timetable
"From January: U10 on Monday and Wednesday at 4, U12 on Tuesday and Thursday at 5, adults on Friday at 7, 90 minutes each on Court 1, 8 places." It creates every weekly series in one go and warns you if anything clashes with what's already on the courts. You add the descriptions and photos afterwards.
A price change
Raising prices across the board means opening every pricing rule and doing the sums. Your agent reads them all, works out the new amounts, updates each one and tells you what changed.
Put every evening price up by 10%.
Three of your pricing rules cover evenings. All three are updated:
| Rule | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Weekday evenings | £18.00 | £19.80 |
| Weekend evenings | £20.00 | £22.00 |
| Floodlit courts | £24.00 | £26.40 |
Bookings already made keep the price they were booked at.
The everyday questions get quicker too: "What's on tomorrow?", "Is there a free court on Thursday after 6?", "Who's on the waitlist for Saturday mornings?", "How much came in last month?" Altogether it can read your calendar, free slots, bookings, events and participants, memberships, the waitlist, reports and the activity log, and do most of what you do in the admin.
And because it's your own assistant, it can combine all of this with whatever else you've connected it to: a booking request in your inbox goes straight into the calendar, and the week's schedule goes straight into your team chat. Automate the busywork; the sky's the limit.
Connect it in a minute
Open your Profile, and under Connected apps copy the address. In Claude, add it as a custom connector. You'll be asked to sign in with your Isopenat account and pick which of your organizations the agent may see. For each one there's a Can make changes box, off by default, so a fresh connection can only read.
The same section lists every app you've connected. Flip Can make changes on or off per organization whenever you like, or disconnect an app altogether. Either takes effect on its very next request.
You stay in charge
Anyone on your team who can open the admin can connect an agent to read. Making changes takes the Owner or Admin role as well, and the agent can never do more than the person who connected it. If someone leaves the team or their role changes, their agent's access follows on its next request.
For anything that can't be undone, the agent looks before it leaps. Before it cancels a booking or a session, it first finds out who would be refunded and who would be emailed, so it can ask you before going ahead. If a booking lands outside opening hours or during a closure, it tells you and waits for your OK, just like the admin does.
Every change is in the activity log
Whatever your agent changes is recorded in the activity log under your name, marked with the app it came from. You can always tell what you did by hand from what you asked your agent to do.
